CHEM-VAC can completely eliminate the following emissions:

BTEX (Benzene, Toluene, etc.), Aromatics, Hydrogen Sulfide, Ammonia, Amines, Acids, Mercaptan, Acrylates, Chlorine, EDC, Chlorinated Solvents, Etc.

The unit is comprised of three packed beds in series; each with their own separate reservoir and mist eliminator (to avoid cross-contamination). Furthermore, each reservoir has its own re-circulation pump.

Compressed air is the only utilility needed to operate this system! In addition, pre-concentrated chemical medias have been developed which take the guesswork out of which chemical to use with a particular vapor stream. Just add a pail to each reservoir and water up, it's that simple. No mixing or direct operator involvement necessary.

The unit has a 1000 pound carbon bed on the back of the trailer for polishing the vapors. This carbon bed is unique in that it has temperature monitoring as well as an emergency liquid purge in case of elevated bed temperatures.

Other Safety Features: The CHEM-VAC system also includes a Pressure Relieve Valve (PRV) and Flame Arrestor as part of it's committment to safety and performance.

Optional Uses: When not in use as a vacuum truck scrubber, the system may be used as an emergancy scrubber or used in small tank cleaning situations. Simply open and close a few valves and the system is ready to be used in a 'negative' flow configuration. In this case a copus blower or airhorn could be used to pull vapors through the CHEM-VAC.
